Secure Bike Parking Just Cents Per Hour

This neat idea is really one of those ’slap your head, why didn’t I think of that?’ moments

The key is the smart card. What I do not understand is how they get the price so low.

And while I’m on about smart cards, whatever happened to that idea that has been floating around this region for more years than I can be precise about: the Translink smartcard?

Thanks for spreading the good word. If I had a couple of million dollars, I would put these all over NYC. I really think it could be a moneymaker. I mean I know people who would pay 25 cents/hour for safe bike storage.
