Cheap solar panels
I mentioned recently that CBC news story about the couple with solar panels on their roof. The problem up until now has been that technology has been expensive. Sunlight is free but converting it into electricity came in at around $3 per watt. Now a company in California has come up with a way to do the same job for 30c a watt.

This is amazing! And its in production now, not a research idea that we can expect to see in 10 years.
“Right now, the biggest question for Nanosolar is not if its products can work, but rather if it can make enough of them.”
